Standing ovation for the amazing King's Singers!
The King's Singers returned to Prague after three years. This time the ensemble was invited by the Prague Philharmonic Children's Choir to open with a galaconcert the 85th season of the choir.
During the evening the superb vocal ensemble showed the incredible variety of its repertoire. The performed pieces from Renaissance to contemporary music.
In the second half of the concert the Prague Philharmonic Children's Choir joined the stage as well and performed four diverse pieces. Both ensembles sang also together.
The King's Singers crowned the evening with selection of close harmony favourites. The charmed audience rewarded the artists with long standing ovation.
It was a truly memorable evening!
The Prague Philharmonic Children's Choir also hosted an open workshop with the King's Singers. It was held one day before the galaconcert, 24. 2. 2017 at New Town Hall. Choirs and individuals all over the republic joined this event.
