International choir concert is approaching!
International choir concert will take place on Sunday June 11 at 8pm at the Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Our Lord at Jiřího z Poděbrad Square.
Apart from the Prague Philharmonic Children's Choir the audience will have a chance to listen to a renown Hungarian choir Cantemus and Ukrainian female choir of the Kiev Glier Institute of Music. This institution was the first conservatory in Ukraine and many of its absolvents belong to the world top artists.
The choirs will perform broad variety of compositions from Renaissance to contemporary works.
This concert will be special also thanks to the venue. The church is considered one of the most significant Czech religious constructions of the 20th century.
The concert is held in cooperation with the parish, municipal authority of Prague 3 and with Czech Choir Festival Hradec Králové.
